Maine Chapter ACS Visits the Legislature
Stop the Bleed Grant
On March 13, 2019, members of the Maine Chapter met with Senate President Troy D. Jackson and Speaker of the House Sara Gideon to present the life saving 'Stop the Bleed' kits and explain the importance of teaching citizens how to respond to life threatening bleeding emergencies. A grant from the American College of Surgeons enabled the MEACS to donate two(2) 'Stop the Bleed' kits, each containing eight response packets.
